Performance Survey Findings Published

14 February 2022

...

At the CACoP Forum meeting on 08 February 2022, CACoP Members received a presentation of the key findings from the 2021 Code Administrators' Performance Survey.

...

Under Principle 12 of the CACoP, Code Administrators are required to participate in periodic surveys, allowing Code Users to provide feedback on levels of service across the industry. Ofgem commissioned Savanta to carry out the latest survey, which took place throughout summer 2021.

Following the publication of the findings in January 2022, the CACoP Forum welcomed Savanta and Ofgem to the most recent CACoP Forum meeting.

We are pleased to note the high levels of overall satisfaction in Code Administrator performance across all codes, and the improvement in perceived standards since the last survey in 2019.

21% of those surveyed believed that the overall service provided by Code Administrators had 'improved' or 'improved a lot', compared to just 1% who considered the service to have worsened.

This is against a backdrop of significant changes in working patterns as a result of COVID-19, and we're pleased to learn that the migration to virtual meetings has been well managed and well received across the board.

We will be working closely as a CACoP Forum to review recommendations from the report, to identify and incorporate improvements into our Forward Work Plan for the coming year.
